  • Orange Dream Creamsicle

1 navel orange, peeled
¼ c fat-free half-and-half or fat-free yogurt
2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
¼ tsp vanilla extract
4 ice cubes
COMBINE the orange, half-and-half or yogurt, orange juice concentrate, vanilla, and ice cubes. Process until smooth.

  • Peanut Butter Banana Shake

Combine 1 cup fat-free milk; 1 sliced ripe banana; and 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serves 1.

  • Beet-Ricota Smoothie

Combine ¾ cup water; ¾ cup orange juice; ¾ cup ricotta cheese; 2 medbeets, trimmed and chopped; 1½ cups frozen strawberries; ¼ cup walnuts; 1" piece fresh ginger, peeled; and ½ tsp cinnamon in blender. Blend until smooth. Serves 2.
